Yogo sapphires are considered by many to be the finest sapphires in the world. They are found in only one place, Yogo Gulch, located in the Little Belt Mountains near Lewistown, Montana. Yogo sapphires have a very constant color, typically cornflower blue and are the only sapphires in the world guaranteed not to be heat treated. This detail, along with a fact that they are very rare makes them very desirable and expensive gemstones.
