Allen Jimmerson is recognized as one of the leading wildlife painters in Montana, capturing breathtaking western landscapes by using rich colors, light and meticulous detail in each piece.

A life-long passion for wildlife and the outdoors has led Allen Jimmerson to devote himself full-time to painting wildlife and landscapes scenes of Montana and Glacier National Park. Jimmersons artwork “Heavy Shield” was chosen as the official painting for the Glacier National Park centennial celebration. The Lewistown-born artist has sold over 800 originals to private collectors worldwide and has been twice chosen for the cover of Cabela's Catalog. He currently resides in eastern Montana.

"I feel in order to be a good wildlife artist, I must go out there and see the animals I paint. When I see deer, antelope, moose, bears, or hear an elk bugle, it helps me to capture the feeling and mood that I need to paint them accurately. The best compliment I can receive is when someone looks at my painting and says, "I've been there before"
